故事发生在一所初中内，西片（梶裕贵 配音）是一名平凡得不能再平凡的初中男生，性格和成绩都毫无亮点，唯一的过人之处，大概就是脾气要比一般人好得多。高木同学（高桥李依 配音）就坐在西片的旁边，让西片感到困扰的是，个性活泼开朗的高木同学，似乎总喜欢捉弄自己，并且乐在其中。 随 着时间的推移，西片决定不再默默忍受高木的捉弄，他要进行反击，要让高木也尝一尝被捉弄后害羞的滋味。然而，西片的捉弄计划却往往以失败告终，无论是谁捉弄谁，最后羞红了脸的永远都是西片。青涩的校园之中，充满了欢笑与希望的日常日复一日的展开着。"If you blush, you lose". Living by this principle, middle schooler Nishikata gets constantly made fun of by his seat neighbor Takagi-san. With his pride shattered to pieces, he vows to turn the tables and get back at her some day. And so, he attempts to tease her day after day, only to find himself victim to Takagi-san's ridicule again sooner than later. Will he be able to make Takagi-san blush from embarrassment even once in the end?
